Hootie and the Sanchez on the Lil’ Giant ladder
So Jeff was at the house tonight and we have more wildlife infiltrating our lives. We’ve identified our newest member as a Whiskered Screech Owl and named him Hootie and the Sanchez (cousin to hamster Hammy Sagar Sanchez.) Jeff was just a few inches from it, and could have grabbed it, but we’ll let it out tomorrow morning, once I get photos of it for the blog! Amazingly, Jeff thinks we should keep him. Oh sure. Keep a wild animal, not one of the million domestic animals that NEED saving. We hope he’ll be part of our menagerie on the outside (including the 5 point buck and his doe – no photos yet of them but at least 8 sightings of him lounging in our backyard.)
