One of our favorite parts of the house are the windows, windows, windows. They’re in the front, in the back and up high which is good for those late night trips to the refrigerator sans p.j.’s.

The windows above are in the living room and look out the back of the house down to the backyard. We decided to remove the hardwood floors due to the dogs wear and tear and replace with concrete floors. So, the boards needed to be removed, we posted them for free online and the Mormon militia descended upon us (a very nice family who wanted the flooring for their family cabin) and after 2 days they had pulled them all up and hauled them away. Nothing like free demolition labor. Unfortunately, that was the end of the free labor days.

More windows run along the entire front of the house giving us an incredible view of Mt. Olympus, one of the most popular and accessible hiking spots in SLC and right in our front yard. So close in fact that we have a 5 point buck that sits in the bushes in the back yard and scares the sh*t out of Jeff.
